2019 Korea TKD Trip
Where do we begin? It was an epic trip where 28 of us moved at a vigorous pace clocking 10 and 15 mile days. The intention was to maintain Great Grandmaster Kim's legacy while adding our own flair.

Volunteer Duty Officers
We still made sandwiches at the crack of dawn.
Daily TKD Exercise
We had our early morning parking lot workouts.
Spying from the DMZ
We saw the main tourist sights like Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, and went to where President Clinton referred to as "the scariest place on earth" - the DMZ.
Getting schooled by King Sejong
We also went to relevant TKD sites such as the Dan Gun Shrine, Do San Memorial, Chung Geun Memorial, Choong Mu Memorial, King Munmu Underwater Tomb & King Sejong Memorial. We had previously not been to these places with Master Kim but thought our students would appreciate the context.
We visited beautiful temples and UNESCO Heritage locations.
And not so serious places like noraebang (karaoke).
We ate all the good food
Sunmudo at Golgulsa Temple
We did an overnight side trip to Gyeongju which was the capital during the Shilla dynasty and practiced with the monks there.
This is the Cliff Notes version and you'll have to come see the rest for yourself. The 2020 trip is sold out but we are taking a waitlist. If there is continued interest we can make a 2021 TKD Korea trip happen...
