Can children join Tae Kwon Do?
The youngest age we currently accept is age 6. Classes are one hour and typically it is difficult for a child under the age of 6 to enjoy a one hour class format.
Q
Do I need to purchase equipment?
No. We practice traditional non-contact Tae Kwon Do so padding and gear is unnecessary. Only a uniform (dobak) is needed.
Q
How long will it take to earn a Black Belt?
Tae Kwon Do is one of the things that you will get what you put into it. That being said if a student is training regularly one can earn their black belt in about ~3 years.
